Shazia Tahir
Director of Education & Academic Strategy
Shazia leads the academic direction of Bury Tuition Centre and is a highly experienced teacher with a degree in Education from Manchester Metropolitan University.
She specialises in Key Stage 2, 11+ preparation and GCSE English, with a strong focus on building confidence and closing gaps in learning.
Shazia is passionate about creating a structured, nurturing environment where every student feels supported and able to succeed.

Nazia leads the operational direction of Bury Tuition Centre, ensuring a structured, professional and supportive environment for students and families.
She holds a degree in Business Information Systems and brings a strong background in programme management and operations.
As part of North West Education Hub, she is focused on developing a centre that offers a breadth of opportunities while responding to the changing needs of young people.

I tutor Biology and Chemistry up to A-Level, as well as GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics across all major exam boards.
I’m passionate about making science engaging and accessible. My lessons are clear, structured and tailored to each student’s needs to help them build strong subject knowledge and exam confidence.

Cambridge-educated English teacher, specialising in English Language and Literature.
Being a Senior GCSE examiner, I focus on exam preparation, guiding students step-by-step to feel secure, capable and ready to succeed.
I believe in the power of words and the confidence that comes from strong communication skills. I create a supportive space where students develop their skills and achieve their goals.
